Ilala Leisure was started in early 2026 with a vision of making high quality brands available to South African Leisure Vehicle enthusiasts.

Named after the distinctive Ilala Palm, a species of fan palm native to Southern and Eastern Africa.  Highly valued in African culture, its leaves are traditionally woven into durable, intricate baskets, and its sap is frequently used to make traditional palm wine.

The word ilala (or lala) originates from the Ndebele and Zulu languages, where it directly translates to "lie down".

We created an exclusively Online Marketing and Sales business focused on partnering with select Brands to bring a carefully curated catalogue of high quality Leisure Vehicle products and accessories to a variety of South African Online sales channels.
